Jodene Shwer, DPM is a graduate of the Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine. There, she received both the Paul R. Quintavalle, Sr., Memorial Faculty Award and the Stanley David, DPM '56 Award, which is awarded to students who demonstrated outstanding proficiency in the clinical sciences.
Dr. Shwer went on to complete her surgical residency at New York Presbyterian-Brooklyn Methodist Hospital. She has presented at the Limb Preservation Symposium at Weill Cornell Medicine and was published in the Compendium of Podiatric Medicine & Surgery 2014. Dr. Shwer is an attending physician at Cooperman Barnabas Hospital. She works with patients from all walks of life, helping to achieve a cosmetic and functional outcome for their feet.
Outside of podiatry, Dr. Shwer enjoys working with her hands through ceramics and painting. She loves playing with dogs, traveling, and remains an active runner and swimmer.
