Eddy Simon, MD, is a board-certified internal medicine physician at The Heart Center of the Oranges, PA, who sees patients at the Maplewood, New Jersey, office on Millburn Avenue. The practice also has offices in East Orange, West Orange, South Orange, Newark, and Bloomfield, New Jersey.
Dr. Simon was born and raised in Haiti. He studied at the Universidad del Noreste in Tampico, Tamaulipas, Mexico, earning his medical degree. After graduation, Dr. Simon moved to the United States and completed a medical internship and internal medicine residency at the University Hospital in Newark.
Dr. Simon is board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine. He’s also certified in basic life support (BLS), advanced cardiovascular life support (ACLS), and advanced trauma life support (ATLS).
When he isn’t meeting with patients at The Heart Center of the Oranges, PA, Dr. Simon serves as an emergency room attending physician at JFK University Medical Center in Edison, New Jersey. He’s also a physician preceptor at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School in Newark and loves mentoring up-and-coming physicians.
Dr. Simon is a member of several professional organizations, including the American Medical Association, the Association of Haitian Physicians Abroad, and the Aesclepius Medical Society.
Dr. Simon speaks English, Spanish, French/Creole, and Portuguese fluently. His knowledge of these languages allows him to better serve his diverse clientele. Dr. Simon welcomes new and returning patients to The Heart Center of the Oranges, PA, and looks forward to caring for them.
